End of Fear, Beginning of Love

The event of November: Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Elio Fiorucci held a meeting on fashion and art 'from the Pop Newpop'. was a very special one on Tuesday morning, as it's not every day you have artists like them, to confront together.
In the middle of the speech were the color and fast fashion, the main Ingred Pop.

"De la Prada, Fiorucci have taken into account in their work to the needs of the people: the smile, the colors, and originality. Pop art is a movement that changed the art, is self-deprecating, optimistic. Would not hurt a bit 'the art of the sadness of the modern world made of escort, selfishness and violence. ".

So Mariella Milani (famous Italian journalist who deals with fashion) introduced the two designers.
Following the fil rouge of 'pop art, after presenting his life, Agatha has presented his work of a year, "closer to art than fashion," a labor of colors and simple, happy images.
But sensational was the intervention of Fiorucci, a great man who has started to work in the fast fashion for some years, since, as pointed out by Milani,

"to buy items in the series is a cultural fact, even the jet set buy items economic: the trend. Fashion is democratized. "

Finally, Fiorucci closed his speech explaining his famous angels:

“They are symbols that protect; the dead are angels, but angels are above all people who are near to you: next to us (even without realizing it) there may be a person who loves us.”

For now you can browse the website of hm to see the first images of the collection, but from the 23th November you can buy the long-awaited collection by Lanvin for fast-fashion stores of H&M.

Here are some photos of the collection, so chic and sophisticated, elegant and youthful at the same time. A collection attentive to detail, while linear, whose particularity is colorful, well lit, but not too glaring, just special. After all, there is the touch of Lanvin behind this wonderful collection!

Do you want to watch a different movie in this rainy night? Do you may want a fashion movie, rich in faboulous dresses? I’ve got it:

VALENTINO, the last emperor.

It’s a documentary about Valentino Garavani: they were following the stylist for two years, during preparetions of fashion shows till the last magnificent one, in the Ara Pacis (Rome).

You can see how gorgeous is Valentino’s work: he use to study e-v-e-r-y dress in its single parts, until this dress will be  p e r f e c t. The movie portays the real Valentino, “reserved and exuberant at the same time”, a man who speaks with his hands and actions, a very charismatic man,yet silent, difficult… but extrordinary, always attacched to a lifelong companion, Mr. Giammetti, a very special man.

The “red Valentino”, the ropes, the private plane, his dogs, Paris, and the grand final parade, the one that has left an indelible mark.

An incredible movie, moving, that leave you breathless.

Là dove tramonta il sole

Le foto che vedete le ho scattate in questi ultimi tre giorni, quando sono stata nel Lazio, sulla 'Riviera di Ulisse'. Meravigliosi il mare, il tramonto, e tutte le viste fantastiche che si vedono dai castelli e dai ruderi..che sarebbero perfetti per set fotografici di moda!

I miei outfit non sono molto particolari, infatti mi è stato concesso di portare solo una piccola valigia da condividere con mia sorella, e i vestiti sono tutti abbastanza 'sportivi'!

Godetevi i paesaggi, sono fantastici!

Ora sono molto emozionata per l'università: sarò una matricola! Mi auguro solo di aver fatto la scelta giusta: ho seguito la passione (come vi dicevo nel post precedente).

Posso sintetizzare con queste parole ciò che mi ha spinto a decidere il mio futuro, a ignorare ciò che dicono gli altri per seguire il mio istinto, iscrivermi all'università e tuffarmi in un mondo nel quale è difficile entrare, per tentare un lavoro che "migliaia di ragazze ucciderebbero per fare"...la moda!

Quindi, presto inizierò una nuova avventura e da fine settembre mi allontanerò dal nido per sperare di spiccare il volo, prima o poi.

Sunny Days

  

Oggi voglio mostrarvi uno dei miei posti preferiti.

E’ il Paese Alto vicino alla mia città, e ho scattato le foto su una specie di terrazza, che nei ‘sunny days’ mostra una vista spettacolare sul mare. Le persone che vedete con me sono mia sorella, mio fratello e una nostra amica di famiglia. Ci siamo divertiti molto, il sole era forte e caldo.

Vado a preparare le valigie, domani si parte e dovrò lasciare qui il mio computer.

The girl is back

E dopo un mese, sono tornata vincitrice con il mio onesto 78, maturata! Sono scontati i rimpianti e la voglia di tornare indietro, fermare il tempo, o rivivere questi 5 anni di liceo, così spensierati, così vivi.
E' ora di guardare avanti, di rinnovarsi, di iniziare un futuro -che spero di poter vivere nel mondo della moda-.
E questi giorni di prima libertà dalla scuola stanno andando benissimo, infatti con i saldi estivi ho fatto moltissimo shopping...H&M, Zara, Kiko, Miss Selfridge, Asos! Pian piano vi mostrerò tutto, è stato fantastico poter girare per negozi virtuali e reali e fare così tanti acquisti!
Le foto che vi mostro sono della sera scorsa, quando siamo andati a far visita al Japan Festival organizzato dal nostro comune con una rappresentanza del Giappone. L'atmosfera era meravigliosa: lanterne, ombrelli, sushi, ventagli, musica e danze tipiche, kimono e tutta la magia nipponica. Enjoy!
